METROPOLITAN PARK @THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL FAIR
The exhibition hosts works by postgraduate students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Landscape Architecture. Architects, Agronomists, Foresters, Civil Engineers, Spatial Planners, Environmental Engineers, design the location of the Thessaloniki International Fair, as a contemporary urban center park, that the city lacks, of the course “Landscape Design, Urban Space Design’.
Recreating and highlighting the image of the city from its history, natural and cultural, ensuring free public living space, urban livability, upgraded quality, natural continuity and greenery, is the creative contribution of the projects to our urban geoculture. In any case, according to the dynamics of the landscape, nature and culture which seems to have been forgotten, in the otherwise nerve-wracking sphere of this urban space, for which many plans, visions and claims exist even from Hébrard and up to this day.
